VSX (Virtual Switching Extension)

Aruba Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) is a virtualization technology for core
and aggregation switches that allows multiple chassis to be
managed from one-point, such as stacking. VSX, a multi-shash aggregation solution, allows each switch to operate independently while synchronizing its equipment for simple management. At this
point, the switches work in the active-active state rather than the active-standby state, so if one equipment fails, the other will still function normally, providing continuous network services.

HPE Smart Rate Multi -
gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3bz)
Future Proof Infrastructure : Multi-gigabit Ethernet Accelerate network infrastructure with technology
Network switches typically last more than five to seven years. During that time, the devices connected to the edge
will become faster and faster, so that the switch ports and cabling will also be fast enough to support them. HPE Smart
Rate is a technology that has emerged to address these concerns.
HPE Smart Rate Multi-Gigabit Ethernet technology provides ultra-fast performance and PoE power while maintaining traditional campus cabling to save investment, laying the foundation for 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) access points and loT device environments.
The new IEEE 802.11ax AP environment can quadruple network capacity compared to the 802.11ac AP environment. Multi-Gigabit feature network switches support increasing load in dense and voice/video data-intensive environments.

Dynamic Segmentation
With the advent of the IoT era, the number of terminals connected to wired/wireless networks is increasing. The combination of Aruba's security solution ClearPass Polcy Manager and wired/wireless
hardware makes it simple and efficient to achieve per-device/user role-based policy assignment and access control.

- The device is connected to the wired access switch / wireless AP.
- Through tunneling, user information is passed to ClearPollcy Manager, and ClearPass identifies the device credentials.

VSF (Virtual Switching Framework)
Aruba Virtual Switching Framework (VSF) is a virtualization technology for access switches.
By configuring up to four switches as a single resilient virtual switch, you can connect
servers or switches using standard LACP for automatic load balancing as well as high
availability. Simplify network operations by reducing the need for complex protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Equal-Cost Multipath (ECMP), and VRRP.

Wi-Fi 6 Extended
In today's traditional Wi-Fi 6 and lower standards, the rating is mainly 40Mhz or 80Mhz, not even in the SGhz
band due to a lack of available channels. In addition, the number of client terminals connected to Wi-Fi is
increasing rapidly, and the surrounding environment, including our work environment, is changing to a form that
necessarily requires Wi-Fi connection, which is limited by the existing spectrum. To address these challenges,
the newly created Wi-Fi 6E extends the existing Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, enabling the use of a new frequency band,
the 6Ghz band. The Wi-Fi 6E extends Wi-Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, WPA3, and Target Wake Time to 6Ghz for more continuous
frequency and less interference. With Wi-Fi 6E, companies will meet new requirements for multi-gigabit speeds, such as high-definition video.
After the first announcement of the 6Ghz radio frequency band in January 2020, the US FCC approved the use of the frequency
band in April of the same year. And in October, the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea will also decide to supply 6Ghz bands
for unlicensed frequency purposes such as next-generation Wi-Fi.

Aruba Wi-Fi 6E
Unveiling the Industry's First Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Access Point
Aruba announced the world's first enterprise-class access point with Wi-Fi 6E in May 2020.
It supports all three radio frequency bands up to 6Ghz, including 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.
In addition, the Aruba 630 series access point is certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. This means that seven 160Mhz channel bands are available, along with the 6Ghz frequency band support that Wi-Fi 6E access points need to provide faster, more delay-free Wi-Fi environments.

Ultra Tri-Band filtering (UTB)
The 5Ghz and 6Ghz bands are closely attached to each other, which can cause interference
between the 5Ghz parent and 6Ghz child channels. To prevent this, you should block the use of
parent channels in 5Ghz or prevent the use of child channels in 6Ghz.
